Agency Treasury Services (ATS) is The Royal Bank of Scotland's treasury outsourcing business - offering bespoke treasury solutions for clients with cash concentration concerns or sophisticated problems requiring complex solutions.

ATS combines our world class electronic trading capabilities with people expertise to give you streamlined processes and structured exposure management systems. We deliver a complete treasury service to tackle issues including; cash concentration, poor returns, balance sheet management, foreign exchange and interest rate risk management.

• Cash management - multi-currency investment and monitoring, with your portfolio tailored to meet your specific needs re: target balances; maturity ladder and increased liquidity.
• Counterparty Diversification - ATS can provide counterparty diversification through a panel of banks / institutions, selected by the client, mitigating cash concentration concerns and Icelandic-Bank style losses.
• Asset and liability management - identifying exposures and employing effective interest rate risk management tools, in order to neutralise their effect.
• Yield and liquidity management - portfolio investment management to improve both yield and liquidity encompassing: scenario planning, yield enhancing balanced portfolios, product diversification and weighted average maturities.
• Foreign exchange - spot, forward contracts, currency options, swaps and benchmark FX execution (RBSfix) plus full outsourced collection, netting and execution.
• Treasury administration and support - trade confirmation, matching and settling; cash movement reconciliation daily; monthly performance reporting; and Counterparty Credit Rating information (daily, monthly and including alerts).
